최첨단 레이더 솔루션 기업 비트센싱이 중앙아시아 지역의 지능형교통체계(ITS) 인프라 구축 사업에 참여하며 글로벌 시장 진출을 확대하고 있다.
비트센싱은 최근 중앙아시아 주요 도시들의 교통 인프라 구축 사업에 자사의 TIMOS™(Traffic Insight Monitoring Sensor) 센서를 1차 도입했다고 밝혔다. 이를 통해 비트센싱은 향후 2차 사업에서 인공지능(AI) 기술을 활용한 서버 솔루션 TraXight™(트랙사이트)의 도입을 확대할 예정이다.
TIMOS™는 레이더, 카메라, 엣지 컴퓨팅 기술을 융합한 통합 교통 센서로, 스피드 위반 탐지(Speed Violation Detection) 및 차량 검지 시스템(VDS, Vehicle Detection System) 등을 중심으로 활용된다. 또한, AI 기반 데이터 분석 기술이 적용된 TraXight™ 서버 솔루션과의 연계를 통해 도로 인프라 관리와 실시간 교통상황 대응 능력이 크게 향상될 것으로 예상된다.
비트센싱은 국내 스마트시티 및 지능형교통체계 분야에서 다수의 프로젝트를 수행하며 기술력을 인정받았다. 이번 중앙아시아 진출은 이탈리아 베로나시를 거쳐 확장된 글로벌 전략의 일환으로, 향후 더 많은 해외 시장으로의 진출을 위한 교두보를 마련했다. 특히, 최근 ‘두바이 2024 ITS World Congress’ 한국관에서 자사의 첨단 ITS 기술과 성과를 소개한 것이 중앙아시아 진출의 중요한 계기가 되었다.

Bitsensing participates in 'Central Asia Transportation Infrastructure Construction Project'
Bitsensing, a cutting-edge radar solution company, is expanding its presence in the global market by participating in an intelligent transportation system (ITS) infrastructure construction project in Central Asia.
Bitsensing recently announced that it has introduced its TIMOS™ (Traffic Insight Monitoring Sensor) sensor for the first phase of a traffic infrastructure construction project in major cities in Central Asia. Through this, Bitsensing plans to expand the introduction of TraXight™, a server solution utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technology, in the second phase of its future projects.
TIMOS™ is an integrated traffic sensor that combines radar, camera, and edge computing technologies, and is mainly used for speed violation detection and vehicle detection systems (VDS). In addition, it is expected that road infrastructure management and real-time traffic situation response capabilities will be significantly improved through linkage with the TraXight™ server solution that applies AI-based data analysis technology.
Bitsensing has been recognized for its technological prowess by carrying out numerous projects in the domestic smart city and intelligent transportation system fields. This entry into Central Asia is part of a global strategy that has expanded through Verona, Italy, and has established a bridgehead for future entry into more overseas markets. In particular, the recent introduction of the company's cutting-edge ITS technology and achievements at the Korean Pavilion at the 'Dubai 2024 ITS World Congress' was an important opportunity for the entry into Central Asia.
